Our passion at Homestead Farms is to educate the families in our community about farm life and where their food comes from.

During our store hours we invite you and your family to explore our farm and visit the chickens and bunnies right behind the store, walk out to meet our milking goats, watch the pigs play in the mud, and see what’s growing in the fields! Take the lesson home by shopping in our store for local, healthy, farm fresh foods, your family will enjoy.

Volunteering

Volunteer Hours:  Wednesdays 9-11am

or the last Saturday of every month 9am -12pm.

Volunteering at Homestead Farms is a great chance for a hands-on learning experience. You don’t have to commit or register; just come (during volunteer hours,) join us, and be ready to do any kind of farm work – each opportunity will be different.   Arrive 5 minutes early to fill out an application on your first time out to volunteer.

Volunteers must be at least 8 years or older, and all volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.  All volunteers MUST wear closed toe shoes.  Hats, long pants, gloves and water bottles are recommended.
