I'm not surprised at all. I have seen how the farm life truly runs in Michael's blood. We should clone him and sprinkle the clones out all over north central Texas so we could have more locally-grown food!

We are the exact same way, even if we were multi-millionaires we would still farm. Of course we would have more land, more tractors, more animals, more crops, etc. But we would still work the land. I am so glad and grateful that there are a few of us true farmers left in this country. http://youtu.be/QuzhwkaNC40

Hi Sarah, your sign caught my eye as I drove home from Roanoke a few weeks ago; then when I had lunch with a girlfriend at Texas Harvest Pie Co. over spring break and saw "Homestead Farms" as a prime resource, "visit your farm" made my to-do list.

When I checked out your blog today, bells began ringing and lights began flashing! What a lovely, lovely gift. I love Keller, and "home-grown" folks is one of my favorite things about this great little town.

I'll be by to get my shirt and hamburger meat and milk. See you soon! (keep blogging if you can with your little one, you're fun to read!)

These are GREAT ideas and I cannot wait to see how the farms, stores and other ventures grow! How about a co-op? I know there's not many in this area and that may could bring in some extra $$??
Keep up the expansion plans and we'll keep buying!

Sounds exciting! My family is definitely coming to the Earth Day Event and bringing some plastic bottles for your baby goats when you have them. Good luck to you and thanks for bringing farm fresh food to us and to future generations. :)

This sounds great!! I need to make a visit on one of the 'cool' days. Are you interested in taking orders for the bacon, ham, etc? I would be interest in ordering some.

Nice to hear about the 1 acre acquisition.

Hi Sarah,
You probably don't remember me but I am a friend of your mom. Right now I am in India and I got the good news through the email. Congratulations to both of you. I still remember you as a sixth grader when your mom introduced you to me at the first baptist church where you were a little helper.

This is a great blog and I love reading farm blogs. Some of my favorite ones are http://www.inmykitchengarden.blogspot.com and www.farmgirlfare.com
